A Pool "Ministry"...

Is there such a thing? Andy is teasing me that I have a "pool ministry" going on since we hang out at the base pool almost every day. Well, I laugh, but maybe I do. I'm finding it's a wonderful way to recruit Vacation Bible School volunteers, grow ladies' Bible studies and fill the pews at the chapel. So, yes, I think it is possible to have a "pool ministry." He-he...
See, I have three mermaid helpers with me...

We've also done what every family with a loved one serving in the war does...we've put a yellow ribbon round the old, oak tree in our front yard. Thought you might like to see our base house.

I also want to thank you for your continued prayers and support for Andy (and us). We sense your prayers and your acts of kindness have served to encourage a chaplain on a dangerous mission field. The cards, the boxes, the phone cards for troops, the popsicles, the candy... all these tangible things show your love for Christ and us. THANK you from the bottom of our hearts. We are down to 10 Mondays! The halfway mark is next week! Yipee!! He received a medal from his commander last week for his service there. Here they are together.
soli Deo gloria,
LT
